Katie Moyer (Mozambique)

Katie worked for Mennonite Central Committee in Mozambique from 2016 to 2020.

Her story includes allegations of sexual assault and information about how MCC HR staff failed to respond appropriately to protect her (the person accused of assault stayed in his job while Katie had to continue to attend staff retreats with him, even after her complaint was judged to be founded. She was never told what discipline this man faced). There is also information about how an MCC partner organization with documented issues of mismanagement, staff harassment and workplace misconduct continued to be funded by MCC and Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB). See also the related story about the MCC Co-Representative in Mozambique, Melissa Wilson.
